Photoleap

Photoleap (by Lightricks) is a mobile photo editing app that blends traditional editing capabilities with advanced AI features. It enables users to perform everything from quick touch-ups to imaginative, surreal edits right on their phone.

Several tasks that normally require intricate work are handled by AI: for example, Photoleap can remove unwanted objects or blemishes from an image and seamlessly reconstruct the background, or automatically detect the subject of a photo and swap out the background with a different scene. It also includes an AI art generator: you can type in an idea and Photoleap will create a unique image or backdrop that you can blend into your project.

Additionally, Photoleap offers an “AI selfie generator” which applies artistic styles to portraits—turning a simple selfie into a stylized avatar or artwork. Alongside these AI-driven tools, Photoleap provides layer-based editing, filters, text, and other effects for full creative control. By using AI to handle tricky processes (enhancing quality, making precise cut-outs, etc.), Photoleap makes it easy for users to achieve complex photo edits and artistic effects without needing desktop software or expert skills.
