Vyond

Vyond – Vyond (formerly GoAnimate) is an online platform for creating professional animated videos, often used in corporate, marketing, and e-learning contexts. It enables users to produce animations with characters, props, and narration without having to draw anything themselves.

Vyond comes with several animation styles (contemporary, business-friendly, whiteboard animation, etc.) and a large library of pre-made characters and scenes.

Users can customize characters (choosing their hair, clothes, and other features) to represent their brand or audience. To create a video, you build it scene by scene: dragging characters onto a background, adding speech bubbles or voiceover audio, and including props like office furniture, charts, or icons. Vyond’s interface includes a timeline for each scene where you can time entrance/exit of elements and synchronize to audio. A standout feature is automatic lip-sync: when you add a voiceover file or record narration for a character, that character’s mouth movements are auto-animated to match the speech. This saves a ton of effort when making talking characters. Transitions between scenes and camera zooms/pans can also be added to give a dynamic feel. Vyond is entirely cloud-based, so everything is done in the browser and assets are stored online.
